Middle School (5 – 6 Grade)
With the move to Distance Learning, both 5th and 6th grade courses will be graded on a Hybrid Pass/No-Pass basis. Any student receiving a C or below will be assigned a Pass/No-Pass grade. Any student who receives any grade above a C can accept the letter grade of A or B instead of the Pass/No-Pass grade.
Middle School (7 -8 Grade)
While grading systems are not a reflection of the worth of a student, they do reflect their progression through the learning material they are being taught at school. To this end, all 7th and 8th grade students will receive a “traditional” letter grade (A, B, C, D, F) which paints a more accurate picture of their abilities over a matter of time.
High School (9 – 11 Grade)
Due to the uncertainty of the impact on college admission, NCAA eligibility, scholarships, and many things beyond the reach of our control, teachers will continue to grade students using traditional grading practices (A, B,C, D, F) during Distance Learning.
