Winona University trip

On March 24th, our 7th and 8th graders visited Winona State University to learn more about college life. It was a great taste of college life with wonderful classes and beauty of the campus.

MMSA’s annual movie night

MMSA’s annual movie night was March 30th. It  was an incredible success. The cafeteria was packed! The night was  was a parent/child night to enjoy a good movie. We played the good dinosaur and had wonderful feedback.

Art Gala

On May 5th MMSA held its Art Gala. It was a terrific opportunity to show the best of our students art. There was a lot to see and do! Thanks to all who turned out to see it.

It’s no wonder American classrooms are becoming more diverse.Through a partnership with MCTC, MMSA staff voluntarily decided to take an evening Somali class in order to learn a bit about the culture and language of some of our students.
